Happy Monday lovelies! It’s another week and another chance to start it off in a positive way. Today, I’ll be making my final post about our recent Bermuda trip. I didn’t think I could get away without posting about all the delicious eats in Bermuda bc everything was so yum! First, let me tell you a little bit about this ensemble. I wore this colorful beauty out in Hamilton on our of our date nights. This dress is so breezy and comfy…it felt like you weren’t even wearing anything at all! That made it perfect for summer bc it was nice and cool to wear. I had no problem wearing a strapless bra with it and it was not visible at all. I think this dress would transition beautifully into fall paired with a jean jacket. It also comes in another pattern which is a beautiful deep blue hue. To complete this breezy look, I threw on my Tory Burch Miller sandals, some shades, and I was ready to hit the town.

Bermuda Restaurant Guide

There are sooo many restaurants in Bermuda, so it can hard to choose where to eat! I’ve rounded up our fave ones that we enjoyed while on our vacation.

The Swizzle Inn (South Side) Casual

There are two Swizzle Inns on the island, one is located close to the airport and the other is on the south side of the island where most of the pink sand beaches are located. B and I first traveled to the Swizzle when we ventured out on the public bus system to explore the south shore beaches. We passed the Swizzle on our way there and decided we would stop in on our way back to our hotel. We LOVED the Swizzle so much that we came back for a second time. We loved the rum swizzles and “black and coke”. (like a rum and coke but using Gosling’s dark rum). We also tried the wings and nachos and they were both delicious. In my opinion this place is a must stop on your travels for a casual lunch or drinks!

The Hog Penny (downtown Hamilton) Casual

Bermuda Restaurant Guide-9

B was so excited to try out a traditional British pub, so we decided to give the Hog Penny a try. The atmosphere is what you expect a pub to look like…lots of dark wood a fun beers to try! We tried the Bermuda Onion Soup, which was souper (see what I did there) yummy! It is similar to a traditional French Onion soup that you would eat in the states…but a lil’ sweeter. For dinner, I had the French Onion Pork Chop and B had the Chicken Bhuna Masala. Both dishes were tasty and we really enjoyed the lovely, casual atmosphere. One tip: this place is pretty popular, especially during Harbour Nights, so make sure to get a reservation or get there early!

Harry’s (Business Casual: a little more fancy)

Bermuda Restaurant Guide-8

We stopped here for an app bc we had a late dinner scheduled on the evening. The outdoor space is beautiful as it overlooks the marina. There are plenty of umbrellas and shaded areas to keep you cool. There is also a large indoor seating area as well. Since it was happy hour time, we tried one of the Bar Specials which was Cuban Sliders. These were oh so yummy!! They were made with cuban pork and zesty and sweet slaw on top. I highly recommend stopping here for some cocktails and apps! You won’t be disappointed.

Barracuda Grill (Business Casual: a little more fancy)

This was one of the places we went to on one of our “fancy” nights out. Holy cow, it was yummy!! It is a little pricier but it is completely worth every penny. The atmosphere is just lovely, dimly lit and romantic. The wait staff was very attentive and gave us great suggestions and recommendations. I had the swordfish and brian had the bone in ribeye. They were both uniquely prepared and delicious. This was one of our favorite meals on the island.

The Waterlot Inn and The Dock (Fancy: wear your best outfit here)

Bermuda Restaurant Guide 10

We chose this place as our anniversary dinner. Every year we try to travel somewhere that falls on the anniversary of the day we first met. We are both suckers for sentimental things and July 17 holds a special place in our hearts..a day that changed both of our lives. This gorgeous restaurant is located on the south side of the island and sits on a bay with pretty boats docked there. Before you head to dinner, make sure to stop at “The Dock”. They have great cocktails, live music, and a gorgeous view of the sunset. We actually planned our night out based on the sunset time. We had drinks, watched the sunset, and then headed in for a lovely dinner. This place is pricey, but you will have an extremely wonderful meal and impeccable service. (Random side note: As were walking down the stairs to our table, one of the staff mistook me for Jennifer Aniston. That not only made my night, but my whole trip!! ) The food here is off the charts!! We both ordered some fancy drinks and decided to try the mushroom thermidor as an app. It was out of this world!! For dinner, B had the Signature tasting trio for steak, which was filet, rib-eye, and wagyu. He is still talking about how good it was. I had the petite filet which was cooked to perfection. For our sides, we had had the potatoes gratin and broccolini with garlic. Everything was absolutely divine and it was honestly one of the best meals we have ever had. We ended the night with a snickers bar dessert and espresso. It was the perfect night to celebrate our love!! The staff is so attentive that they even call you a cab in advance and have it waiting for you once your meal is complete! Talk about service! PS: Thanks to the Waterlot Inn for making our night special and making me feel like a celebrity…watch out Hollywood, here I come!
